I turned on my computer and this is the screen - pic attached.Does anyone know if I go to the exit button or what Edited the content to hide sensitive information Acer-Samuel.If this comes up often its likely a sign the CMOS battery has reached end of life and needs to be replaced.
Insydeh20 Setup Utility Windows 7 Was ReleasedI believe your machine is a netbook that originally came with Windows 7, right Windows 7 was released in 2007 so it could be as old as 10 years. Is it still running W7 or have you upgraded it to W10 (or W8W8.1) Unfortunately your model has a soldered in CMOS battery, so unless you have decent soldering skills and equipment it is best to take it to a technician to have the battery replaced. Likely they would replace it with a socket and battery, so when it goes bad next (ten years down the road it sounds like) youll be able to just pop the old one out and put a new one in. Do you get anything else on the screen between turning it on and the BIOS setup If it were just the CMOS battery you would only get this once.
